Need A Good Putty Like Program For Mac
Hi, On the windows side, there is a program called PuTTY that I use all the time, and in particular there was a setting that I cannot seem to find on any other program. When opening a connection, I could select SSH, Telnet, RLogin etc but the one I am interested in is Raw. I more than happy that Terminal will suffice for most things but cannot seem to get this to work. Any help on getting Terminal to work or an application that can do it would be great.
On the iPhone there is an App called pTerm that does exactly what I want it to do. I just made the jump from a Windows laptop to a MacBook Pro 15' with Retina display. I do need some Windows apps, (a new Mac Office would be nice, Microsoft) and I am running Parallels with Windows 8.1 from my Boot Camp partition. It looks like there was a native version several years ago, but I can't seem to find if it's been maintained. Does anyone have any good alternatives (preferably free)? Also, I have a USB to serial adapter that I used on my Windows PC quite a bit, but I can't tell if my Mac is picking it up or not.
